I was recently given this stunning tablecloth set - the workmanship is crazy-good, my thoughts are that it's Dutch and was probably a souvenir piece for the tourist market. It would take me years to produce something of this intricacy and my patience would would be in tatters. It's the perfect cloth to adorn an afternoon tea (HA!! to have the time for that indulgence)..... tea, funnily enough has patience - aside from patience being a key ingredient of a perfect brew, the quality of tea is determined by it's 'patience' which is how well a tea performs after successive infusions.
